Dear All,
I'm an Australian sociologist based at the Uni. of Tasmania (last stop
before the Antarctic!), and am currently involved in a project studying
formal and informal mechanisms of collaborative, cross-disciplinary and
cross-sectoral research. I'm interested in any info that people might be
able to supply in terms of [a] their own experiences - pro and con - of
collaboration; [b] institutional arrangements favouring or
blocking/discouraging such interdisciplinary endeavours; [c] the format of
research courses at undergrad, honours or higher degree levels, and/or
staff training sessions that provide overviews or instruction as to how to
carry out such research; or [d] case histories of these types of project.
Any help you may be able to provide on these and related issues would be
very much appreciated.
With thanks in advance,
ti sero lo mano,
Warren.
