First Announcement and Call for Abstracts

Conference Topics:
The aim of the conference is to discusse impact of economic globalisation
on the economies of the European small countries, both on micro and macro
levels. Any paper corresponding to this broadly conceived theme of the
conference will be welcome. However, the organizers would like to
especially encourage contributions discussing any of the specific topics
outlined below.
* Sectors' Transformation and Development in the European Small Countries
* Globalisation Impact on current and further Development
* Globalisation and Transition
* Technological Innovation in Small Countries
* Financial Institutions and Development in Small Countries
* Competency and International Ability in Small Countries
* Investment, efficiency and effectivenes in Small Countries
* Networking Commerce and its impact on Development
Informations for participation:
Conference fee is 100 DEM or $ 70, and it includes Book of abstracts and
excursion.
All hotel reservations for foreign participants will be managed by
Organization Board.
Instructions to the authors:
Participants wishing to present a paper should submit a detailed abstract
(up to 300 words) in English or Croatian via e-mail to the organizer on
[log in to unmask] (attachment file) or at the Faculty adress by March 31, 2000.
Proposals should include author's name, affiliation, institution, and
adress/phone or fax number/ e-mail). Abstract must be completed with no
more that five key words.
All abstracts will be reviewed. Detailed instructions to authors will be
sent along with the second call and the abstract acceptance notification
(May 15, 2000).
Abstracts will be published in a special booklet (Book of abstracts), and
best papers will be considered for publication in "Economic Research" -
journal edited by Faculty of Economics and Tourism or in Conference
proceedings.
