Dear list members,
My apologies for sending an email with styled text.
In some computer configurations this is interpreted as a plain text message,
accompanied by an html attachment.
My configuration did not report it sent an html styled text.
One of the options of my e-mail program (Eudora) is to warn when styled text
messages are sent. I know have this option working.
I asked Mr. O Cathain what it was that I did wrong, and found out that an
unintended html attachment was sent.
He asked me to inform list members what to do to prevent this from
happening. So my solution to prevent html attachments is:
When using styled text, let your e-mail program warn you, and ask whether or
not to sent the message as plain or styled text. When possible, designate
mail lists as recipients not capable of interpreting html-mail.
Hope to have been of help,
Ernest van Breemen
