NATIONAL DISABILITY CO-ORDINATION TEAM
Coventry University has recently been awarded the contract to undertake
the service of a national disability co-ordination team on behalf of the
Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and Department of
Education Northern Ireland (DENI). The service is to co-ordinate
disability-related activity within universities and colleges of HE in
England and Northern Ireland. We now have the following vacancies,
which will support the Principal Co-ordinators and other staff within
the team.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Up to £17,130 on appointment with possible progression to £20,283
You will take responsibility for co-ordinating the administrative duties
of the team with the main duties involving supervision of administrative
and clerical staff, day-to-day management of budgets, and co-ordination
of events. You will act as the first point of contact and information
for external enquiries. Qualified to A level or equivalent, you must
have significant experience of providing administrative support,
excellent communication skills and the ability to establish good working
relationships with a wide range of people. Ref. No: CA41/00
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
£12,042 - £12,921 with possible progression to £14,721
Supporting the Administrative Officer, you will undertake a range of
clerical and purchasing duties and contribute to the organisation of
events and workshops. You must be adaptable, able to deal with multiple
priorities to tight deadlines and be IT literate. Ref. No: CA42/00
Both posts are fixed term appointments available until end December
2002.
