Re: Jane Eliot-The second of the two documentaries is called
"Blue-eyed" and depicts adults (many of whom are teachers) as
participants in her 'experiment.' The documentary also shows how Jane
herself was discriminated against because of her work, and how her
family lost its business because of their stand on racism. Also,
children from the earlier classroom experiments (who are now adults)
are interviewed about how the experience as children influenced them
over time. This documentary, and the original were shown on PBS (in
the US, and available by cable in Canada) about a year and half ago.
I was fortunate enough to be able to videotape both.
