RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP
PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICAL INDICATORS OF USABILITY PROBLEMS
We invite applications for an EPSRC funded Research Studentship, working
with Dr Robert Ward and Dr Phil Marsden in the Department of Multimedia and
Information Systems at the University of Huddersfield.
The project will investigate a novel approach to software usability testing,
based on the use of psychophysiological measurements for identifying
difficult or stressful events and situations that occur in the use of
interactive systems and electronic information sources.
The successful candidate is likely to have a first or upper second class
honours degree in computing, psychology, or a related subject, with
interests and experience in the areas of human-computer interaction and
experimental psychology.
For further information, in the first instance, contact Dr. Robert Ward by

Application is by curriculum vitae and covering letter to Dr R D Ward,
School of Computing and Mathematics, University of Huddersfield,
Huddersfield HD1 3DH.
