I should think most labs have a need to do this. In fact i can think of a
lot of developments that havn't taken place because it isnt an easy thing to
do, and it ought to be.
I'm not sure what you mean by PDF barcodes- but if you mean including
patient demographic and test information in a bar code like they do in
Norfolk- then that would be a good way of doing it. The only problem being,
that ideally you would like host path systems to generate the labels for
samples moving from one lab to another- and few would be able to do this.
