Hmmm - this event is two weeks before the BMVA/IEE
symposium which is to be held in London. Working in
Edinburgh, I, for one, certainly won't be able to
attend both.
Surely the UK AR community isn't so big that we are
faced with bewildering amounts of conferences ? Or
perhaps it is larger than I thought - as having
two events scheduled so close to each other hints ...
Perhaps we need some kind of high profile AR interest
group to try and coordinate future events ?
It also seems relevant to point out that the IEEE's main
AR event (this year called ISAR2000) will this year be
held in Europe after two previous meetings in the US
(see http://www12.in.tum.de/isar/2000/index.html) - this
is after some pleading by European AR researchers to have
it here.
