Boryborygmi - noises made by your guts as gas passes through and becomes
flatus when it comes out of the tail end
Viscera are your internal organs (usually those in your abdomen) and hence
visceral fat is the layers of fat that cloak your innards
It's easy when you have sweated six years for your medical degree

Subject: Questions
I have two questions that members may be able to help me with:
1. Reading through research on pyruvate supplementation, I came across two
terms that I have not heard of before - borborygmus and flatus. My best
guess is that they refer to some kind of 'gastrointestinal distress', but I
would like to be clear on a more precise definition.
2. What is visceral fat? I am aware that visceral fat is stored in and
around the abdominal area - however, where precisely is it found?
Many thanks,
Christian Finn
