I am not aware of any problem at the moment with reading Stata
data files.
As pointed out by Alessandro Secchi, using Database::Info()
is not the correct method to check if reading worked when there
are missing values. Info() uses a time-series perspective:
it prints information on the leading valid sample of each series.
It is very simple to create similar output after deleting
missing values, e.g. using something like
println("mean of y:", meanc(deleter(db.GetVar("y"))));
An alternative method to check is to print out some of the series
wich have missing values.
