The JISC/CALT funded Networked Learning in HE project has produced a set of
notes and guidelines for effective networked learning in HE. The document can
be found on the project web site and is available to download.
http://csalt.lancs.ac.uk/jisc/
The guidelines can be found by clicking on the Advice and Information button.
This document is an interim report that will lead on to a handbook that is due
to be published in December 2000. The project team will be very grateful for
any comments and suggestions based on the interim document as we will be able
to use them as we develop the final handbook. The team will be especially glad
to receive feedback from people with experience of networked learning who have
ideas to share on additional guidance, advice, experience and evidence.
Contributions to the final book will of course be fully acknowledged.
The handbook is explicitly aimed at teachers in HE who are thinking seriously
of making use of networked learning. Other audiences for whom the document is
designed to address include more experienced staff who are reflecting on their
practice and specialist staff in educational development units.

It would be great if some discussion of the guidelines took place on the list
so that we could all benefit from the discussion. Happy reading,
