Dear Colleagues,
I've just heard that the Publications Office will have to stop publishing
the printed version of EUR-OP News. Apparently lack of money is to blame.
The web version will still be available. However, I believe that there are
over 300,000 printed copies distributed each quarter, and yet the website
receives less than 1,000 hits per issue.
If, like me, you appreciate the convenience of being able to scan the paper
version of EUR-OP News over a cup of tea/coffee, marking items of interest,
then you are likely to be concerned at its forthcoming demise.
If you wish to register concern, please reply to this e-mail, and we can
lobby EUR-OP through the EIA.
Best wishes,
Eric
