* Introduction:
The ISA2000 Congress aims to provide researchers and practitioners from academia
and industry with a forum to report on the latest developments in intelligent
systems and their applications.
An invited session is taking place under the auspices of the Congress dealing
with various issues relating to the reusability of web-based educational systems
which are emerging as major concern among learning technology researchers.
increasing number of web-based educational systems which are being developed in
almost every discipline and most of these systems are custom made to individual
needs of particular course. Efforts are underway to develop criteria for
reusability of such systems and development of metadata, authoring tools and
application of agents technology can be seen as major role players in this area.
The session will attempt to raise issues concerned with the practicality of such
research efforts and will focus on implementations of emerging research.
* Important dates:
Paper submission (max. 7 pages): Friday 28 April 2000
Notification of review outcome: Monday 29 May 2000
