Research Studentships in Psychology
Applications are invited for three Departmental studentships, for research
leading to a PhD degree, to commence in October, 2000. The awards will
normally be for a period of three years. The value will be approximately
equivalent to an ESRC award, covering living expenses and tuition fees.
Applications are also invited for ESRC studentships. Psychology
has mode A recognition for both its full and part-time PhD programmes.
N.B. Departmental deadline for completed applications: 14th April for
1st May ESRC deadline.

The Department has an expanding and forward-looking programme for psychology
research students, excellent laboratory facilities, and many long-standing
collaborative links with professional psychologists in the Greater London area.
Applicants should have or expect to gain a 1st or good upper 2nd
class honours degree. All studentships are awarded on a competitive basis.
Succesful applicants for Departmental studentships will be required to
undertake limited teaching duties.
