Dear Colleagues,
First, my apologies for cross posting.
I am wondering whether any of you have come across references to
(pro)feminist men and Geographic knowledge production.
There are some very good edited collections on the topic outside geography
(for those who are interested see, e.g., Tom Digby, ed., 1998, _Men Doing
Feminism_, Routledge, or Alice Jardine and Paul Smith, eds, 1987, _Men in
Feminism_, Methuen), but I have come across none so far in geography
(perhaps an indictment of my limited reading more than anything else).
Peter Jackson spoke about this issue a bit in his 1993 paper, 'Changing
Ourselves...' (in The Challenge for Geography), but I cannot remember any
more substantive treatments of the issue.
If anyone has any suggestions, please e-mail me privately. I will collate
any materials and post them back to the CGF and Geogfem.
Thanks,
lawrence
