Hello,
I have a speed skater who was cut by a skate blade about 18 months ago
and subsequently had his patellar tendon severed. He has successfully
returned to speed skating and is doing quite well despite some minor set
backs.
My question is this: Does anyone have insight or interesting
information that may be of use to me in designing his training program
and strength training program? Are there any supplements that he could
take to enhance his recovery or that will help his tendon strength? He
occasionally has some non-descript knee pain, and he has had some minor
patellar tendonitis.
Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
