Dear colleague,

You are invited to the European Conference on Project Risk Management,
Thursday 13 January in Brussels, Belgium. Managing risks is an important
process in project management, and European projects in particular feature
special challenges and risks.

The event is co-sponsored by the RiskDRIVER consortium and the European
Commission, with the participation of the Project Management Institute and
several industry experts. RiskDRIVER (http://www.riskdriver.com) is a
European initiative to promote best practices in managing risks for projects
and process improvement.

The keynote speaker is Ned Robins of OPL UK and the University of Warwick, a
managing consultant, lecturer and recognised expert in project risk
management. Following his presentation, concurrent roundtables will address
the risks of European projects, of research and development, information
technology and other topics.

Conclusions from each roundtable will be presented in the final plenary
session, and the day will end with informal networking and Belgian beer
tasting (worth the trip by itself).

An exhibit area will display the latest software tools for project
management, risk management, process simulation, software testing, and
quality improvement.
