Dear All,
I would like to second Paul Ell's query about microfilm scanners. One of
my projects is devoted to the accumulation and digitizing of
socio-political cartoons published in various Turkic-language newspapers
and magazines in the Russian Empire between 1905 and 1917. I have many
of these on microfilm, collected over the last 20 years, and have been
wrestling with the question of how to scan them. I have access to a
Nikon LS-1000 35 mm Film Scanner which will do the job, but only if I
cut the film into roughly six-inch pieces, which I am loath to do. Any
recommendations for equipment that will allow loading of a roll of film
for digitizing?
Thanks,
Ed
