The thirty-third issue of *Research in Germanic Studies* is now

RiGS is an annual survey of current research in Germanic Studies
in Great Britain and Ireland: this year, for the first time, it is being
published only on the internet. It details theses submitted in 1999,
theses currently in progress, and work published in 1999 by
members of the Conference of University Teachers of German in
Great Britain and Ireland.
If you do not have web access, you can still retrieve RiGS 1999-
2000 as a (307 Kb) document file for personal use by sending an e-
mail message to

saying (in the body of the message)
get mime german-studies rigs9900.doc
This will work even if you are not a subscriber to the Mailbase list
german-studies.
