PhD Bursary at Nottingham Trent University
THE LATER PLAYS OF ERNST TOLLER
The German Section of the Nottingham Trent University invites applications
for a three-year PhD bursary.
The broad area of research will be the dramas of Ernst Toller in the late
Weimar Republic and during exile. The specific approach and content of the
thesis will be developed by the student in collaboration with the
supervisory team.
A first-class or upper second degree in German, or a first-class or upper
second degree in which German is combined with another subject/other
subjects, is a prerequisite.
The successful applicant will receive £6,500 per annum for three years and
fees will be remitted for the period of the bursary. The student will join a
thriving research and postgraduate culture, and will contribute to the
German Section's research interests in the Weimar Republic and National
Socialism.
