VADS_PICTIVA User Needs Survey 2000

We would be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to fill out and
return this questionnaire - this study is intended for people who are
involved in learning and teaching in the visual arts. We particularly
welcome responses form students, teaching staff and support staff from FE
and HE. The survey is available at:
http://vads.ahds.ac.uk/pictiva/survey.html

The results will be used to inform the PICTIVA Project. This project aims to
promote the use of image collections in learning and teaching in the visual
arts by creating generic tools to aid the use of the collections and to
develop learning and teaching materials based on the image collections held
by VADS. We are hoping that the results of our survey will help us
understand the user needs of our audience and as a result to develop the
specifications for the development of generic tools and learning and
teaching materials. These will be included on the VADS site and will be
accessible to UK HE and FE.

Finally... Please answer as much as you can - all of the information that
you can provide will be gratefully accepted. If you wish to be entered in
our prize draw, to win a £50.00 book token, which will take place on 31
December 2000, please make sure you give your name and address
(unfortunately, entry into the prize draw is only available to UK
residents).

All of the information on the form will be treated confidentially
