TRANSPORT VISIONS NETWORK
UPDATE
1) SOCIETY AND LIFESTYLES REPORT AVAILABLE
2) LAND USE PLANNING DEBATE TO COMMENCE SOON
**********************************************
For those who are interested, the first report from the Transport Visions
Network, 'Society and Lifestyles', is now freely available online. Printed
copies can also be ordered from Landor Publishing (details also on project
website).
The second report 'Transportation Requirements', which identifies the
guiding principles the Network believes should be used in shaping the
future of transport, is currently being drafted and should be available in
early 2001.
Of most relevance to this update message is the fact that the third Theme
that the Network will be addressing is LAND USE PLANNING. This Theme is set
to commence on Monday 27 November. Although membership of the Network is
now in excess of 200 people we are keen to see new members join who have a
particular interest or expertise in land use. I would be most grateful if
you could draw this to the attention of any eligible friends or colleagues
or other relevant email lists.
To download the first report or join the Network please visit the Network's
website at http://www.trg.soton.ac.uk/research/TVNetwork
Regards,
Glenn Lyons
