THE INSTITUTION OF HIGHWAYS & TRANSPORTATION
Yorkshire & Humberside Branch Seminar
Friday 29 September 2000
The Riverside Suite, York Viking Moat House Hotel, York
"The Future of Transportation?"
This vitally important topic embraces both regional and national
issues concerning the assessment and development of our
transportation strategy and infrastructure. It will review current
practice and give an insight into future needs and alternative
modes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Theme
We are at a time when the transport industry is responding to
recent policy guidelines which raised the profile of a multi-modal
holistic approach to the assessment and provision of transport
infrastructure. This seminar takes forward the President's theme
and looks at the current strategy and how it is being realised in a
number of relevant fields, both regionally and nationally.
Speakers
The eminent speakers have a wide range of experience and
success in their particular fields and should stimulate lively
discussion.
Exhibition
There will be an exhibition of relevant products and services. If
you would like to exhibit, stands are available at a cost of £150,
including the attendance of one delegate. Alternatively you may
wish to circulate promotional material to delegates. If so, contact
