AUTOMATICALLY BETTER? THE IMPACT OF AUTOMATION ON THE SURVEY PROCESS
26 April 2000 - Imperial College London
FINAL REMINDER
Just a brief reminder about the next ASC one-day meeting which is taking place
on Wednesday 26 April 2000 at our usual venue - Imperial College, London. The
focus will be on developments in recent years which have reduced the amount of
manual input into the survey process. There will also be an opportunity to debate
the costs and benefits of this rush towards automation and to anticipate what
further developments might be in the pipeline.
The conference should be of great interest to survey directors, managers,
researchers and users who need to be aware of the impact of these changes on
the survey process and outputs.
Full programme details, including abstracts, and a booking form are now
available at: http://www.asc.org.uk/Events/Apr00/
Costs are £75.00 for ASC members and affiliates, £40.00 for students, and
£100.00 for everyone else.
As usual, there will be an exhibition associated with the conference. Potential
exhibitors, or anyone wanting more general information, should contact:
