Transport Analyst

The Transport Futures Project within the Infrastructure Systems Engineering
Core Capability of CSIRO continues a tradition of world-leading Land
Use/Transport and Environment Research. With exciting new research
initiatives underway in E-Transport, E-Commerce, Activity and Air Quality
Modelling we are seeking to recruit a scientist with proven expertise in
transport research and excellent quantitative analysis skills to join the
existing research team.
You will have a PhD or equivalent post-graduate qualification plus
significant research experience in either a transport discipline such as
engineering/economics/logistics/planning or management or a strong research
record in applied transport.
You will have well-developed oral and written communication skills, a strong
record of publication in the area of transport research. Teamwork is an
integral part of our operating and you will have good interpersonal skills
and demonstrated ability in working as part of a team.
Consideration may be given to appoint at a lower level for a candidate with
less qualifications and experience, but who meets the remaining selection
criteria.
Tenure: 3 years with the possibility of an extension.
