The Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law is proud to announce the
forthcoming release of the First Annual Review of Gender and Sexuality
Law.
To be released in late May, the Annual Review is the nation's first
and only annual survey of gender and sexuality law. This 500+ page
issue is available for only $15. Reserve your copy today.
This landmark project, developed and produced completely by law
students, traces the history, current status, and emerging
developments in both federal and state law. The Annual Review covers
an array of topics in constitutional, employment discrimination,
education, family, and violence law. This one single issue includes
up-to-date analysis of groundbreaking cases and legislation, including
the VAWA, nude dancing, child visitation, late-term abortion ban, and
student fees cases argued before the Supreme Court this term, as well
as an in-depth analysis of Vermont's civil union law and the 9th
Circuit's recent transgender opinion. A detailed outline of topics
included in the Annual Review is listed below.
This 500+ page issue, available for only $15, encapsulates all of the
latest developments in gender and sexuality law. More up to date than
a hornbook or treatise and at a fraction of the cost, this issue will
be indispensable for practitioners, policymakers, scholars, judges,
students, and lay people alike.
The Annual Review also features a foreword by Suzanne Goldberg, Senior
Trial Attorney, Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, and
Co-Counsel in Romer v. Evans, the 1996 groundbreaking Supreme Court
decision.
