I, too, am saddened by the flawed logic demonstrated here. It is an experience which I have seen repeated all too often in discussion of transgender issues. Empty rhetoric and bombast are repeated until all rational thinkers turn away. I am also unaware of any evidence that most or even many transgender people are prostitutes. I know transgender people who are prostitutes, but I know many more who are not. Maybe I'm travelling in the wrong circles. :)
I agree with your thought below. I am not entitled to consideration because I am transgender. Rather, I am entitled to consideration because I am human. Human rights are transgender rights. I have written a law review article on the subject to be published this Spring in Tulane Law School's Journal of Law and Sexuality. Please look for it.
