Hey, gang, let's not stereotype just because everyone else does.
There are bitter and hostile transsexuals, gentle and peaceful
transsexuals, happy transsexuals, sad and depressed transsexuals,
gay and straight transsexuals.
And I get the sneaking suspicion, not based on anything but
life experience in representing them in the legal system, that
their transgender status has little or nothing to do with it,
despite the predeliction of defendants to ascribe everything
to " hormones". The same hormones that gave us Lizzie Borden
also gave us Joan of Arc; the ones that gave us Margaret
Thatcher also gave us Margaret Meade. Mother Teresa and a female
killer on Texas's death row both share 'em. So if you think
you can improve your portfolio by trading them for testosterone,
guess again.
A miserable human being is a miserable human being. Likewise a
happy and well adjusted one is also happy and well adjusted. If you
have a lot more going against you than gender dysphoria no amount
of hormones or operations is going to help. If you have a lot
going FOR you, no amount of hormones or operations is gonna hurt you.
Try looking at yourself and learning from Shakespeare: The fault,
dear Brutus, lies not in our stars , but in ourselves, that we
are underlings. "
Try therapy. Try God. ( God doesn't require Medicare ).
