We announce a new implemenetation of nu-svm software.
In a new version of libsvm (version 2.03),
we largely improve the performance of our
nu-svm code.
In libsvm 2.0 we used a modified nu-svm formulation
which did not performs well. Now we solve
the standard nu svm formulation.
The timing comparison has shown that the current nu-svm
implementation is competative with methods for
c-svm. This has shown that nu-svm is a practical
tool for use. For additional information, please
see the libsvm homepage.
