POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN THE NEUROBIOLOGY OF
PERSONALITY--LABORATORY OF PERSONALITY AND COGNITION
NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON AGING, NIH
The Personality, Stress, and Coping Section of the Laboratory of
Personality and Cognition, National Institute on Aging has an opening for a
postdoctoral fellow. The research program involves the use of functional
neuroimaging techniques, such as fMRI and PET, to map brain activity and
neurochemical mechanisms associated with normal personality trait
dimensions among participants in an ongoing longitudinal study of
aging. Highly motivated individuals with a recent Ph.D. and research
experience in functional neuroimaging are encouraged to apply. Familiarity
with computer applications (such as MATLAB) and statistical methods such as
SPM are advantageous.
