Fellow SPMers,
I have two questions about the Matlab graphical user interface:
(1) Matlab4 (for SPM95, SPM96): I like to work on my PC, connected to my
Sun via an X-term emulator (X-Win32, in my case). Unfortunately, the Matlab
window for entering the study design isn't sized right. Typically,
instructions for entering design parameters are cut off on the left. When
entering contrasts in the "results" sections, some text boxes aren't high
enough, and the text is truncated on top or bottom. The Matlab windows
won't allow me to resize them. X-Win32 has proven to be a pretty reliable
product, so I think the fault lies with Matlab4. Any suggestions?
(2) Matlab, version 5 (for SPM99). Problems like those in (1) seem not to
occur. However, I cannot "backspace" (rub out backwards) in text boxes,
using EITHER the backspace OR delete keys. (I can only rub out forwards.)
Any fixes? Again, this doesn't happen on the workstation itself, but only
when using my xterminal emulator.
Thanks,
Stephen Fromm
