dear all,
we are performing an fmri study examining verbal fluency (VF)
activations in three mood states, (Happy, sad, neutral). For each
subject three fmri data sets are obtained while a paced VF task is
performed, in each of these mood states.
we have demonstrated a modulatory effect of mood induction on VF
activation.
There is some variability in the subjective effect of the
mood induction tasks as rated by PANAS. we would
appreciate advice on the best way to use this information
to examine whether there is an interaction between subjective rating
of mood and the VF activation (so far we have simply examined
contrasts based on the mood induction tasks rather than the subjects
response).
all the best
