Hi there,
I am getting the swap/memory error message while attempting to read an
spm.mat file (to look at my results) that I have succesfully looked at in
the past.
I am running SPM99 on a SUN (Ultra5) workstation and looking at my fMRI
Results. I did this without problems the first time after I installed
SPM99 on this workstation.
However, if I want to continue working on spm.mat after exiting SPM,
matlab and logging out, then I can't even read the spm.mat file. The
error message suggests an apparent lack of memory, although this worked
before... I am the only user of the workstation, so this should not be a
problem of another user running other processes.
It seems that after logging out some memory is being used, somewhere,
somehow. If I reboot the workstation everything goes back to normal and I
can restart my analysis with no problems. But I shouldn't need to reboot
every time!
Any ideas of what could be happening?
Thanks,
Jorge
