| a. I am not succeeding in trying to set the default for regularization to
| "medium". when I enter a value of 0.09 [0r 0.090] in my spm_defaults.m, I find
| this is read as "very light". Yet when I enter a value of 0.1[or 0.10], I get
| "Heavy".
| what should this be?
The default editing program does not recognise 0.09 as one of the
pre-set defaults, so it simply defaults to showing the last entry
in the list of possible options (which is very light").
| when in session, how do I query Matlab for the current value of the
| spm_regularizn [poor spelling, I know]
type the following into Matlab:
global sptl_Rglrztn
sptl_Rglrztn
|
| I find I am unable to confirm what value was used for a given n*
| image,
| since the spm99.ps output does not record this information. Is it possible to
| load a given *sn3d.mat file into SPM and then find the value contained in it?
I'm afraid that this is not currently stored anywhere.
| is it possible to modify the output when deriving parameters so
| that the
| value of regular'n used is recorded somewhere with the images?
There is not much room in the image headers, but line 784 of spm_sn3d
could be modified so that it also saved additional parameters in the
_sn3d.mat files.
| b. similarly, I do not see a way to verify exactly what BB values were used
| when writiing a given image [although, come to think of it, I haven't
| looked in
| "Display" mode-- is it there, or any other way to confirm that?
Click on the corner voxels from the Display option. This gives you
co-ordinates that are just inside the extremities of the bounding box.
Best regards,
-John
