Dear SPMers:
I am analyzing PET-FDG data using SPM. Any suggestion on design making and
contrast setting would be appreciated. Our study and interest are as
following:
We have two groups. One is normal control, has 10 subjects. The other has 10
methamphetamine abusers. Each subject has been scanned twice, the first scan
was acquired after admission (for withdrawal), and the second scan was
acquired after one month withdrawal. During scanning, each subject performed
an attentional task. Reaction time and accuracy was collected for the
evaluation.
In summary,
group 1(normal control): 10 subjects; 2 scans/subject: scan A, B
group 2 (drug abusers): 10 subjects; 2 scans/subject: scan C, D
RT & Accuracy during scanning
our interest is:
1. is there any difference in rCMGlc between normal and drug abuser groups?
2. are there any changes of rCMGlc from pre- to post-withdrawal in drug
abuser group?
3. What brain area is related to the cognitive task, and are there any
difference in rCMGlc in relation to the cognitive task between the two
groups?
Thank you for your help in advance.
Yun
