|(1) Does one always need to reslice while doing movement correction, or is
|coregister alone enough? I'm asking because it appears that one can reslice
|later at the spatial normalization stage anyway.
Reslicing once only at the normalisation stage will work fine. Note that
the smoothness of the resultant data will be slightly less with one
reslice than with two.
|(2) Can one normalize an image not covering the whole brain using a
|"whole-brain template"?
I've certainly done this successfully with 16-slice data. You may need to
set the origin of the image manually to provide sufficient overlap with
the template. I suspect the smaller the number of slices and the smaller
the overlap with the template, the harder it gets, but others may wish to
comment here.
