Hi,
I am trying to batch coregistrations for multiple subjects, much as I
batch realignment for multiple subjects. I am running into the
following problems, however.
During batch realignment (which runs fine), multiple images from
multiple sessions from multiple subjects are stored in the 'sessions'
field/variable. The only (seemingly unnecessary) limitation is that all
subjects must have the same number of sessions! The way that the
images for a particular subject are specified in spm_realign_ui.m is
p = spm_input('batch',{'sessions',i},'images',s);
where i is the subject's index into the sessions array.
During batch coregistration, however, the structure for holding
multiple images ('other_image') which should(?) be analogous to
'sessions' doesn't exist. Instead, 'other_image', 'target_image', and
'object_image', all of which may be different for different subjects
are loaded via
others = spm_input('batch',{},'other_image');
which doesn't provide for subject indexing.
Thus, there is no clear provision for specifying different target,
object, and other images for different subjects, even though the
routines should nominally handle multiple subjects in batch mode.
I suppose that one way of getting around this is to specify a single
instance in the coreg structure for each subject, but then again, this
defeats the parallel with realign and the presumed ability of coreg to
handle multiple subjects. I may also be missing something really
simple in my specification of files for each subject in the coreg
structure.
Any hints would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
