Dear Tugan,
Since you mentioned a visual area, I thought that it might be worth
mentioning the DeYoe paper (PNAS 93, 2382-2386) which has a series of
flattened cortical maps which show the visual areas and then contour maps
for each of the three Talairach coordinates. So (with all of the provisos
that any anatomically-minded person will raise to such a crude method) one
can get an idea of the approximate ranges of coordinates for each of these
visual areas very easily, and this paper has been used by other authors to
get a rough idea of which visual area they are in. But this is only for V1
to V5 I'm afraid, so it may not be of very much use to you,
Best wishes,
Richard Perry.
