Dear SPMers,
I'm trying to plot the average event-related response for 2 event
types in the same graph, but don't quite know how to do this. First, it
would be nice to obtain an average hemodynamic response for each trial
type alone. For example, I now have 10 subjects (8 sessions each) in my
design and I'd like to calculate the average hemodynamic response for
trial type 1 across all 10 subjects. Analogously, I'd like to calculate
the average hemodynamic response for trial type 2. Then, I'd like to be
able to plot both average hemodynamic responses (i.e., for trial type 1
and for trial type 2) in the same graph.
I've tried to do this but have noticed that whenever I try to create
such a plot, more than 2 curves are shown. Unfortunately, I don't know
what the different curves mean. For example, I recently generated a plot
of event-related responses for a voxel that was activated by a t-contrast
between 2 conditions. I entered:
plot
event/epoch related
1:74 (there were 74 sessions)
1:2 (there were 2 trial types)
The plot that resulted included 12 curves, and is not labelled so
I'm not sure what the curves mean, or even what is being plotted. Could
anyone provide some information on how I might be able to create a plot
as I've described above?
Many Thanks,
:> Daniel
