Susumi,
MEDx folks recommend Main Menu/Setup/Session Defaults/Tile Pool/Pool Size to
be 1/4 of physical memory.
I have 2G on Sun Sparc 60 and use Pool Size 512 MB. It works fine.
The other thing you should have enough swapping space on your Hard Drive,
like in /tmp or some other directory.
