Sorry for the misprint, it should be non-covalent interactions, of course
Please bring the following to the attention of final year chemists
and physicists
PhD STUDENTSHIPS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF YORK
Department of Chemistry
Centre for Laser Spectroscopy and Photochemistry
Two University Studentships are available in my group from October 2000
(or later) for research within the newly created Centre for Laser
Spectroscopy and Photochemistry. Available facilities include: three
colour kHz scannable picosecond laser system, cw ring pulse amplified
VUV/XUV plus VIS/UV laser system, cw ring lasers, two-colour OPO's and
solid state millimeter wave devices.
The projects will involve the study of non-covalent interactions in
molecular clusters by high-resolution spectroscopy and time-resolved methods.
The studentships are open for any nationality or citizenship.
Interested candidates should contact me with a very brief description of
their interests and state what degree they expect to obtain in due course.
