Hi all,
I am currently trying to generate 210-225 nm light from the output of a
mode-locked, Ti-Sapphire laser (coherent MIRA, 150-200 fs pulse width).
I am using SHG and subsequent FHG with two INRAD 5-035 units. The first
step (SHG at 420-450 nm) seems to work fine (ca. 40 % efficiency) but I am
having difficulties implementing the second doubling step (BBO crystal, 81
deg. to get to 210-225 nm). Does anybody have any experience with this
experimental configuration? In particular, I am very eager to find out
what is the typical efficiency of this step. Any additional tips are also
most welcome.
Thanks,
Felix Fernandez-Alonso
