Axman will accepth more than 32000 lines how ever an internal computer
limit ( a bit like the millenium bug) resets the counter ( the axial id
number ) back to 1,2,3. This means you end up with a two lines with
id 2. This is not a real problem unless you are doing something specfic
with the new line number.

Well we processed all of Santiago on a quadra 700 (16mz) with 8mb of ram
over the weekend
london (16,000 lines ) took about 3 hours. If you really need to
process quickly you need a program known as theloglady or orangebox. This
takes an axial man document (unprocessed) and processes using a really
fab fast algorithum really really quickly. When the program finished it
saves the (processed) axialmap again. You cannot do anything in orangebox
except
process really really quickly, you have to use axman for examing the map.
Space Syntax Lab should be able to email you a copy of Loglady/Orangebox.
If you have any problems, email me the map and I can process and email you
the resultant axialmap.
