Distance in Graphs by Fred Buckley, Frank Harary ASIN: 0201095912
Harary uses the term 'status' for what space syntax calles 'intergration'
how ever intergration attempts to produce a number which is relatvised so
that the numbers are compariable across diffrent sized graphs. Technically
'status' is what syntax would lable 'mean depth'. For more
information on the realitivistion process you need good old
'The Social Logic of space' (Hillier,Hanson) Cambridge Univ Pr ); ISBN:
0521367840 . Perhaps the mail bases more informed readers might point
out a relvant paper.
I hopeing to be covering some of the mathematical basis for the graph
theory
of space syntax in a paper I am hopeing to submit for the next syntax
conferance.
