We are currently seeking a Pavements Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer,
preferably one who recently graduated with a Masters or Bachelors in Civil
Engineering, who is interested in working at the US Army Cold Regions
Research and Engineering Laboratory (part of the Engineering Research and
Development Center) in Hanover, NH. If you are aware of anyone interested

There is a Distinguished Scholastic Achievement Appointment Vacancy
(requiring a 3.5 GPA or higher), however, other candidates will also be
considered for a position. Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating, planning, and conducting geotechnical and pavement
experiments in the field and lab
* Selection and installing instrumentation and collecting data
* Managing databases
* Analyzing data and performing calculations using pavements &
geotechnical software, and statistical techniques
* Designing experiments
* Making presentations
* Writing technical papers
