The two are not mutually exclusive! In STEMPRA we aim to
be professional in communicating science, but I think we are
probably all friendly, normal and far from dull :-) We even
enjoy some jokes occasionally, and believe it or not, our
AGM meeting a couple of weeks ago was hugely enjoyable.
At the risk of being accused of trying to poach PUS people,
science PR people seeking comment, gossip, life (?),
science etc are welcome in the STEMPRA network, which
aims to bring best practice to communicating science.
Science PR and PUS are not mutually exclusive, either.
We also have an email discussion list which, while not
exactly buzzing, is quite lively at times.
