So now we need to apologise for communicating? We've already had criticism
on this mailing list for jokes, being friendly - indeed for acting normally.
Why is this list not buzzing with comment, gossip, life and, dare I say it,
science?
What's got into the public understanding of science community? Is
professionalism over-coming normality? Will the PUS community end up with
all the charm and charisma of accountants, or worse, social scientists? Are
you all so serious about what your doing that you can no longer communicate
with each other? Or is communication something that you only do when facing
the public?
Just thought I'd mention this before retiring to my public understanding
bunker
