Dear colleagues
I am Sergey Rozhnov, post graduate student at Moscow State University,
currently working on my Master thesis on
"Norht American Archaeocyaths(superfamily Ethmophylloidea)".
I have few specific questions and hope that somebody would help me to
find
answers.
1. Vaceletia crypta has spines in the pores of the skeleton.
Does anybody know what is the funktion of these spines?
2. Are there functional constraints of the dimensions of choanocyte
chambers in sponges? What is the maximum size these chambers may
achieve?
