Little comment due:
In the rest of Europe Hypertext is already out of fashion...it is a fading
trend none really
experimental would anymore exploit. it has been - I repeat - done, imitated
and become "academic" (meaning that a lot of critics have already sized and
commented upon it extensively: this is how any avant-garde is cunningly
neutralized by the establishment: they tell the "crow-rebel": Crow-rebel,
your voice is really nice. you sing so well that I would love to have you
singing and recite around for me in Poetry Festivals. Crow-rebel, I would
love to write an article on your new poetry program: would you be so kind as
to let me interview you? Can I invite you to the Imminent National Poetry
Festival? "
Crow-rebel open his mouth, the piece of cheese (in this case, the new
linguistic experiment) fall from his beak and the canny critic-fox devour it
and digest the lot). The lot becomes in a day an excrement.
Can anybody inform these unaware youngsters that they should try something
new?
That they are merely now monkeying what has been invented by crow-rebels in
the Eighties.
Is anybody close enough to them to give a whisper into their ears so they do
not put up
a "revolutionary" garment and pose to what it is by now an old avant-garde
passed on to the
kindergarten's teachers to entertain their small-pupils?
In Italy, the hypertext as a linguistic practise , has become part of the
kindergarten syllabus to train
pre-school pupil to use language creatively).
Educational result?
I am sure, respectable.
