Dear Ram
Yes, local flavour is good, my suggesting
my neighbour Dimitris Tsaloumas as a feature
is because Melbourne has the second largest
Greek population in the world. Dimitris also
wrote some important poems re The Colonels.
He's usually here rather than on Leros in March.
The Melbourne event like the Aucland one can
incorporate an existing Federation of Australian
Writers reading, retaining it's character but also
being special as dedicated to the U.N. and
"Dialogue between civilizations".
Thanks for the invitation, seems a great idea
to have such simultaneous world wide events.
Best
Hugh Tolhurst
